Dr. Josh Metzl Joins Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver

Steadman Hawkins Clinic - Denver Announces Foot and Ankle Surgeon
Joshua Metzl, M.D. as its Newest Physician

            DENVER, CO - The Steadman Hawkins Clinic - Denver is pleased to announce that Dr. Joshua Metzl, M.D. has joined its practice as an Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon. Dr. Metzl specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle injuries. Dr. Metzl earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and  received his medical degree Cum Laude from the University of Missouri. Dr. Metzl completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY followed by a foot and ankle fellowship at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC.

            "As an athlete and new a member of the greater Denver community, I am pleased to join the Steadman Hawkins Clinic - Denver as a foot and ankle surgeon, said Dr. Metzl. I have trained extensively with some of the best in my field and I am also a lifelong learner committed to staying on top of the latest medical advancements. Dr. Metzl has presented his research at several national meetings and is currently working on projects related to minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair, metatarsal fractures in athletes and ankle arthroscopy. Dr. Metzls practice interests include forefoot disorders (bunions, hammertoes, hallux rigidus), ankle instability, sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, ankle replacement, flatfoot and posterior tibial tendon disorders. Dr. Metzl is a 5-time IRONMAN® and 11 time marathon runner.
